I am slogging through all the FOIA material. There is not much of note really so far. It appears that there is limited communication with DNREC and no email traffic showing concern for loss of freshwater marsh. Lots and lots of copies of the EA in various drafts.
In hindsight, we should have asked for all documents after the Mother's Day storm that related to Units I, II, and II and the dunes. We did not. Bummer.
I did find out that the community in Assateague is pressing their NWR and NP for dune restoration work. I will have to look into this and see what they have done.
